Functional Nutrition
That Digs Deeper

As a Functional Nutrition Counselor, my job is to take a big step back to look at your whole story, alongside what you've been feeling. Because your symptoms don't grow from a single root cause, and you are so much more than your symptoms.

Together, we’ll connect the dots and uncover the patterns that so often get missed. This is how we reveal what your body actually needs to begin to heal.

My Own Search for Answers Led Me to This Work

Before I found functional nutrition, I was a chef who had discovered a love for nourishing myself and others through health-supportive cooking. I was in my prime, building a catering business, working late nights and early mornings, and loving every minute of it. But life had other plans for me.

In my early 30s, my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and tending to her care became the focus of my life for nearly a decade. Over time, chronic stress took a toll on my health and when I went searching for answers, I was met with dismissive doctors and generic advice that didn’t help. Determined to understand what was really going on, I decided to become my own detective and at the age of 42, I went back to school.

It’s there that I grew to understand, not only how everything in our bodies is deeply connected, but also what it truly means to approach our healing functionally. What I learned was more than nutrition; it was learning to nurture my whole self. After years in survival mode, it’s what finally unlocked my own healing, and it's what I am so grateful I get to guide others through today.

Why My Approach to Nutrition is Different

Being handed a standard protocol, a meal plan, or a long list of supplements can be both overwhelming and unsustainable, and there’s so much that this approach misses.

Most nutrition guidance starts with what you eat. But understanding how your body receives and uses that food is foundational.

Beginning here, alongside a deep understanding of you, your capacity, and what brought you to this point, changes everything about how we navigate your path forward. There's a lot of noise out there—conflicting information, overwhelming protocols, contradictory advice. I’ll be your guide as we cut through all of it, so you can finally tune into what your own body is telling you.

What it Looks Like to Work Together

WE’LL START WITH A FREE INTRO CALL

A 20-minute conversation to talk through what's going on, and make sure your goals and my approach are a good match.

FOUNDATIONAL WORK

We’ll take a deep dive into your full health and life history through a comprehensive intake form and assessments, and most importantly, through a conversation. From there we’ll align on a personalized plan that we'll walk through together—we’ll move slowly and that’s intentional.

This foundational work typically unfolds over about 8 weeks. For some, this work alone creates meaningful shifts. For others, there's more to explore and that's exactly what continued support is there for.

CONTINUED SUPPORT

Healing takes time and everyone’s needs are unique. Continued support can span anywhere from 3 to 6 months or more, with a cadence that feels right for you as your body adapts.

If you have questions, reach out via email or we can discuss them during an intro call.

Ready to Dig Deeper?

Your body is one big connected system—our hormones and gut health are connected, sleep and blood sugar are connected, migraines and digestion are connected. And all of it is influenced by more than just what we eat, which is why looking at your whole picture is so important.

If you've been searching for someone who will listen carefully and truly work alongside you, you're in the right place.
